Yoohoo! I recently got a mac air and to my demise the only way I can get the office suite is through a disk which I got at home. I ended up downloading the office suite for students on my det portal - and it worked!! I can use it with ease and it's all successful. Just wanna know if anyone...

Can i be an engineer if i did general math?

Yes, you can get in 100% if you achieve the desired atar. I just want to ask - why do you want to become an engineer? and which type of engineering do you want to practice? I hope before you choose a desired career path you actually know what the career entails and it isn't glamourous like...

PORTFOLIO of texts on the concept of DISCOVERY

You're not the only one! My first HSC assessment for English was also a portfolio. It consisted of an essay, short story, and I think an analysis of a picture. Honestly it does help you in the long run! Especially since the creative happened to be my final one I wrote in the HSC.

I don't have to catch-up on a sub if I'm transferring in 2nd year right?

Yoohoo! I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Arts at UNSW to my dismay, and I really want to transfer to PR/Advertising next year. I'm also currently in an internship so first semester I want to minimise my hours as much as I can - so I can work, and also not waste too much money and time on...

    English Books

What I did was basically read any wikipedia article - and if I didn't understand a word I'll google it. Just read whatever you can, and when you stumble across a word you're not familiar with just note it down - and try to use it as much as possible.

PORTFOLIO of texts on the concept of DISCOVERY

I really recommend 'Flowers for Algernon' which is both a full length novel and a short story, depending how much time you have. The short story was excelletn and compelling - and really fufilled every element of the rubric. However, there's only a sparknotes page full of the information. The...

    3 days until school starts...

I remember freaking out so much before prelims because I couldn't handle the fact that I was so close into completing my HSC. All I can say is try and have a guilt-free year and do not try too hard because you will burn out. In fact, just relax this year as much as you can and just study for...

almost-20yrold hs dropout is unmotivated & terrified; rants about life.

Not everyone likes to work for money either - that's just how our society work. I guess something you could simply do first is start selling some stuff you have you don't use anymore from your house - having a nifty yard sale can help you acquire some temporary funds in the bank for now, and...
