i think it's possible i used to work with someone who i think transferred to new zealand. i don't know any of the details but it's probably worth asking HR about.

nah it's cool the details typed in at the register carry through to the office, but you do need to click through to tell it to pick it up. in other news there's a chance i won't be at woolworths much longer. applying for commonwealth bank and got through to first stage. hoping for the best :)

that's not true, you have to tell the computer to pick it up. check the dollar amount on the cheque matches what was typed in the register, etc. and if you don't physically have the cheque you shouldn't tell the computer to pick it up.

it definately wasn't from another register but picked up at that one? or they picked up the cheque that does exist but for totally the wrong amount? unless someone did a tender swap very badly this sounds like an office problem. it'll be gone by tomorrow so whatever.

it either sounds like you ticked the wrong box when asked if you wanted the tax free threshold, or you need to supply a tax file number. although those numbers are slightly higher than they should be, even for the wrong tax status. i'd ask someone in your office what's happening there.

are you supposed to be team support? (i assume you mean supervising?) do an adjustment, pay office should be access it. you should not have been paid as junior for SSA work, maybe mention that to your SSO, or maybe HR. there may be some back pay in it for you. i think i say the same thing...

Looking at the agreement, that makes sense,' Grade 2 would be the junior rate, and if you're doing grade 3 work or above it's adult rate. but for your state (queensland, right?) there is Grade 3 for "Department Team Support" ie supervision, and there is a Grade 3* which is for SSA, which is...

i thought SSAs and Supers were grade 3. almost everyone else is grade two unless they are like new, or are like qualified butchers/bakers(candlestickmakers?)

The next line is "By mutual agreement alternative arrangements may apply." So if you've signed a roster that doesn't include it, then that is agreement. You would probably be well within your rights to ask for a new roster that included that clause, but you'd lose the Sunday rate for that...

yeah, it's not too tricky if you know what you are doing. just pressure from all the customers, and the fact you're down a person cause they're constantly on the phone what makes it difficult is not having a click clack machine, fuck my store. i'm gonna ask about it on wednesday when i'm...

yeah, i agree with imatt here. the "not limited to" seems to lean that way, and the proper grade three rates seem to be for the being in charge of the team, like being the responsible person of the front end rather than pointing at specific jobs they'd be doing. Just because most service...
