    Pls help Chem Questions

    C + O2 -> CO2 + 393kJ (exothermic reaction) ΔH = mCΔT (we can neglect the "-" as we already know that this is an exothermic reaction; we simply need to know the magnitude) m = ΔH/CΔT Mass of Carbon = 1kg (1000g) Number of moles = M/MM (mass/molar mass) = 1000g / 12.01 = ~83.264 moles Energy...

    1. They turn from a liquid phase to a gaseous phase, being more spaced apart. 2. No, because boiling is a physical change as opposed to a chemical change. 3. Just space the boiling water apart more. 4. For Hydrogen, the "pop" test (stoppered test tube with Fe and HCl, then light a match and...

    Weight/volume (w/v) percentage is a measure of the concentration of a solution: 12% w/v = 12g/100mL Divide both sides by 100 (to get g/mL) = 0.12g/mL Multiply both sides by 750 to get 750mL = 90g/750mL So the answer should be 90g.

    For the first one it's the theory that the universe is expanding. As the Universe expands in all directions, the light being emitted from things such as stars becomes red shifted as the distance between the observer and the light source increases (thus decreasing the frequency).

    I did not like Ben Afflecks Batman. BvS rant.

    I never followed the comics but I know for a fact that he doesn't use guns meanwhile I swear I remember watching him blowing the face off some guys with their own guns when he's trying to save Martha with Superman.

    Those first two questions are nothing more than identify/list and the third is an explain. They're nowhere near extended response.

    Language of a speech

    As with any speech you must consider your audience - the classroom and the teacher. Put simply, the idea is to speak as you normally would, minus any slang as speeches are supposed to be formal (similar to how when your teacher explains something to you). Don't use some cool sounding synonyms...

    HSC Physics Motors and Generations Question

    As the electrons travel through a magnetic field they experience a force due to the equation F = qvBsinθ. Using the right-hand rule you can determine that a positively charged particle (e.g. a proton) would experience a force down. However, as seen on the fluorescent screen, they instead go up...

    MC Question...

    To increase the deflection on the galvanometer, you must increase the current in the secondary coil. This is a step up transformer: Less -> more coils = voltage increases (power remains constant, so current must decrease in order to maintain the law of conservation of energy). Conversely...

    Check this out for the first question. Check this out for the second question. As for the the third question, following from this website, Zinc is predominantly used in galvanising which means that it adheres very strongly to the surface of steel (for example). This means that large quantities...
