Yeah the film in my opinion was pretty barren comparing to the novel. It was really glorifying to see the characters that you imagined in the novel come to screen but as a whole, the film won't do much for people who have already read the novel. Oh yeah 1Q84! So many books...so little time. >_<

I'm so going to USYD.

This SAM thing feels outdated. I entered in all my subjects and in the end it gave 30.00 UAI with a warning of under 10 units. My multimedia subject still doesn't exist given the SAM database seems to only go up to 2008....

Multimedia has become a joke. We have a teacher that comes late to class, spend whole periods talking only about the syllabus, make us watch stuff that is only partially relevant to our studies (eg WIndows 8), don't teach us enough about Adobe, doesn't seem to be sure what she's talking about...

In my honesty, I would only buy hard or physical copies of the novels off the bookshop if they look good on my book shelf. If it can't show off how amazingly literate I am or if it's something I'm ashamed of or is a guilty pleasure, I would get it off the web. Bless my ego. :)

Yeah I bought The Wind up Bird Chronicle quite recently. Apparently it has a lot more depth and symbolism than Norwegian Wood. Have you seen the film adaptation for Norwegian Wood?

To my experience, those little mini bookstores down the street are usually the more cheaper ones comparing to the might of kinokuniya. I remember I once bought 5 classics liek Great Gatsby for 5 bucks each when in another store they were $10.

What a mesmerizing tale of a young life. The backstories of the various characters were some of the most brilliant I've ever read. Couple that with fabulous humour and emotional depth, this was a book I could really relate to as a young adult. Please tell me I'm not the only fan of Murakami...

*SPOILER ALERT* I saw the ending. It was the best ending evaarr! JOKES. Now this ending wasn’t adequate for me but it certainly was no extreme horrible one. I’m very glad Bioware didn’t put a Hollywood ending. Brave move on Bioware’s part considering the massive audience they were delivering...

My Biology sucks. I have a crap teacher who can't control the class and I have people who don't give shits about the subject. Plus I came into the class like 4 weeks late and missed lotsa valuable info and that made me get 33% in the test that weighs 25%. FML. I would buy your biology notes too.

What a game. If you played it you'll know what a awesome package it is given all it's good stuff like the emotional story, characters and gameplay. But yet it can be a very mixed bag with the textures, lower quality of dialogue and....the ending. So anyone wanna tell their stories in this game?
