Unofficially, yeah that works (it's what I did). Officially, you should speak to one of the deans in regards to degree planning. But the new lady can be a bit of a bitch about it (by which I mean inflexible which is ridiculous because everyone has an individual story and reason for doing things...

contact hours first year b science :)

First year you HAVE to do first year maths (compulsory for all students in a science degree). The way they schedule these classes means you have a minimum of four days a week. Let's say you have MATH1001 and MATH1002. MATH1001 will have lectures on Monday and Tuesday, then MATH1002 will have...

Psychology or Nutrition- Which is better? Job prospects, USYD quality etc

Do a bachelor of science, major in psych and probably some kind of biology. Realise that only 7% of people who do undergrad psych end up doing honours, and only 10% of those get into the Masters of Clinical Psychology. Apply for the masters of nutrition at dietics at the end of your science degree.

    Honours

Really depends on the faculty/department. For English, you indicate an interest area, and they allocate you with a suitable academic. For Psych, you get allocated a supervisor who is often already working on a project and you effectively help them out for a year. You may get to indicate some...

Once you reach degree requirements (ie the 144 credits required for an undergrad degree, with the certain number of junior, intermediate, senior), you will be forced to graduate. You can ask for special permission to exceed degree credit requirements, but it's a bit of a process. Usually the...

    Terrified of failing

    1. Speak to your tutor directly to get feedback. If they take too long to respond, take it to the subject coordinator. If they still fail to respond sufficiently, take it to SRC or Student Affairs. It's part of a uni requirement that they answer your enquiries fairly and within a reasonable...

    friends after hs

It's natural for things to drift. I think you tend to be better friends with people you see regularly because you're not just 'catching up' with them all the time, but being active in their lives. When I was at school, I was part of a close group of 5 people. I see two of them every three...

think that means sydney student is still stuffing up and because we haven't passed the DNF date yet, they haven't decided on exam room scheduling because admin doesn't have a clear idea of final class sizes.

100% sure it tanks every year. Apparently it was Game of Thrones themed and I only realised that an hour in. The live twitter feed and hecklers were the greatest and given by the amount of yelling and texting I did that night, I would call it a success.

or, you know, just learn to share space with people. Regardless of where you go there are going to be common/shared areas. I live in a place that's 4 females sharing 1 bathroom and it works fine.
