I doubt people who walked in the exam (well for the majority) would have a lack of depth in analysis esp. those who walked in there with a prepared essay - the system which it set out to beat is being given concessions.

It certainly does... we don't deny that 2 + related = variety but the question again asked for 1

wow you read that part but you failed to read one related text in capitals - you decided to read the rubric over the question that would cost you 15 marks on the assumption that it was going to be 2 questions? people are blowing the word variety out of proportion: A group that is distinguished...

it's funny how people are arguing that it's part of the syllabus... yes wherever you find it in the syllabus they may say that you must have related text even 2 for that amount but i sincerely doubt the syllabus stated you must have 2 in your exam because it clearly said one. As for losing marks...
