    went to lecture today... he was literally sick, so he wasn't as enthused as mckensara makes him out to be. His lecture was good but i wouldn't say "OMG GOD OF HISTORY" material.

    when you've worked your ass off, have tried your best, exhausted all forms of assistance (including bombarding your teacher and tutor with questions you need help with_ and have consistently achieved some range of marks in your tests... you know your at you limit.

    Go to the library and borrow some books. Read and keep a copy of words that you think are good in a diary. Get some critical readings of texts and see how they structure sentences so that they maintain an academic voice. Look at standard packages - the band 6 answers and see how the language...

    here's the official copy of the new rubric if you want. If you subscribed to the board of studies email you should have been notified about it. Otherwise, your teacher should have given it to you.

    Not sure about that....changes in marking at the centre showed there's been a shift away from critical readings. Readings are only there to shape your reading, not be the basis of your argument. Hence, placing in a critic's quote won't give you a higher mark. As for the actual response, I don't...
