There's also optional question scaling in all exams with option topics. And in English they have common paper equating and a few other strange things as well. So it's quite possible to end up with really weird marks - one of my English numbers was 61.51.

I have read the booklet on enrolling, it doesn't do a terribly good job of explaining this. But do you mean non-locals enrol on Thursday 18th where it says 'Undergraduate Enrolments (Halls and Colleges - Domestic Students)'?

No, enrolment day is like 5 days before O-week.

No, midnight on the 6th of January is in 26 hours, as that is the point where the 6th of January ends: section 21, Interpretation Act 1987 (NSW), if you need an official reference ;)

I'd guess a Commerce, Business, Finance or Economics degree. I believe to become a stockbroker you have to complete a professional training course afterwards and do some more training through the Stockbrokers Association, so the undergrad degree probably doesn't matter so much.

Yes, as others said it's what the syllabus says, and it's what the Explanatory Notes they sent me explicitly state.

After doing some more reading of the notes, it appears English is NOT marked out of 105. Paper 1 is marked out of 45, and then reweighted down to 40, which is then added to the non-reweighted Paper 2. So the final TWM is given out of 100.

Only the Band 6 cutoff, not the lower cutoffs. I got the full package, complete with a set of Explanatory Notes that I didn't ask for. You don't get your state rank with your normal results, so this is the only way to get them.

I've updated this guide again in response to a PM I received from someone, asking about whether or not these requests take over 20 hours and result in extra charges. Short answer: no.
