Check the individual websites of each/hall college. Several have in room shots, although the only one with a decent set of pics is Burgmann.

If you haven't done so, you need to get going with applications. I know plenty of first years who were in self-catered this year, although I think catered is better for the first year, just until you get settled. Or you're like me and too lazy to cook.

No one on BOS who goes to ANU moved to Canberra. If you call the head of the college you put as your first preference, they will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Re: Laptop for Uni? My laptop is 17" screen, not the brightest idea I've had. I'm going to be getting one of those tiny things that cost like $600 for lectures.

If you're doing a degree that would help you get into the field, you should have enough other options to make do, hardly limiting. Still, I wouldn't mind getting into it if the opportunity came by.
