Johns needs to be your first preference for accom when you apply. Mail your references/photo to the college, to be safe I e-mailed them mentioning it had been sent and requested that they contact me when it arrived. It's listed on the website in more detail.

Firstly, don't worry about the practicality of the course, if you like it just do it. That said, business + asian language is a great combo. What will restrict your career prospects is what kind of business you specialise in. I'd expect IB would generally go down accounting/marketing/management...
