What about my ranks?

I'm applying for an early offer for UWS and in the form, it asks for the "Studen'ts HSC Candidate Number". I thought it would be my BOS number but there are only 7 blocks to enter my number in, while the BOS number is 8 blocks. Is the number different to the BOS one?

What do you mean by cumulative ranks? And yes, we have over 400 students in Year 12 alone.

When I apply, can I just pay first and then choose my preferences at a later time (before the closing date)?
