    Magic: The Gathering

"Standard" is the tournament format that contains the last two blocks (at the moment, Champions of Kamigawa and Ravnica) and the current Core Set. It changes every year as one block rotates out and a new one rotates in. This is the most popular tournament format at the moment, and thus card...

my Qs. x] thx to anyone who helped. =]

FDI is Foreign Direct Investment, so to increase it you have to have money coming in from overseas. Mergers and takeovers that happen across countries will increase FDI flows. If an American company buys an Australian one, for example, they will pay the shareholders/owners of that Australian...

    E=mc^2 Energy

The equation E = mc2 means that there is an equivalence between energy and matter. Energy has an equivalent amount of matter and vice versa. The equation means that matter can be converted directly to an enormous amount of energy. In the sun, for example, hydrogen is converted through fusion...

HSC in 2006. Are these subjects going to scale me down?

He means you can't rely on subject scaling to bring poor marks up to a UAI over 90 - you'll have to get good marks in the exams to do well. Which everyone has to do anyway. :) I_F

I don't have NAV. But you can try renaming it back and see if it works. :) I_F

    Magic: The Gathering

You can't play old cards like Hymns to Tourach and ORder of the Ebon Hand in Standard, and as soon as cards rotate out of Standard, their price usually drops. The exception is with cards like the Power 9. Birds will get you a good price too. :) I_F

    Norton antivirus 2005 help..

That shouldn't have any effect whatsoever on Norton. Unless Norton does something like launches itself through the Start Menu, which I doubt. I_F

    Magic: The Gathering

They're pretty old. Sounds Fourth Edition at the latest. Hypnotic Specters are worth a good $10-15 now, although this may depend on their condition. Sengir Vampire may get you up to $5, off the top of my head. The others won't get you very much, since they're not in the latest Core Set. :) I_F

What Radeon video card is similar to 6800GT

That's American dollars. $US400 video card for us is about $A700-$A800 dollars - with that kind of budget, you'd WANT to be able to afford a 1600x1200 screen or else it's a waste of cash. I_F

HSC in 2006. Are these subjects going to scale me down?

Most subjects will not get you a 'good' UAI if you only do "moderately well" in them. If you get 80 across your specific subjects, then I would estimate a UAI of 70-75 or so. Your rank in your class also counts for quite a bit, although the fact that you failed a Bio prac means that you'll have...

No. This is exponential growth and decay - half life is not a direct decay of particles. But jeez, this question's still way ahead for me... :p EDIT: Riviet beat me... I'm really slow tonight. :p I_F

of course theres exceptions. i.e. artifact lands. Well, artifact lands don't have a mana cost in the top corner, but yeah. I should have been more precise with my definition of spells, too, so thanks for pointing that out. :) I_F

Not the /5 at the end of my answer. That's divided by 5. 2/5 + 4/25 = 14/25. Square root of 14/25 = √14/5 EDIT: Thanks for deleting your post and making me look silly. :p I_F
