just going by whats happening so far in my school, I'd say marks will be really bunched early on especially for english until the halfyearlie stage where rankings will be held by one person only. For example atm for english we have 6 people sitting on first and on seventh (second) we have...
whilst this is great and all, its pretty easy to find people who have completed their HSC and summarised the writings of these historians so you don't really need to read through heaps of books!
what you need to take into account is that term 4 assessments tend to be of a lesser weighting (say 10%) to account for people who are nervy about their HSC year.
if you can get ahold of the top journey creatives that would be useful.
Things that work could be simple things like not belonging in a sport team and being left out because of some reason (an injury maybe?). You don't want to make your plot over-dramatic and cliche but something realistic. Its...
interesting, one of mai mates does this!
If you got less stressful subs like you do for the prelim course, I suppose this relieves some of the stress in your yr 12 year for the more demanding subs
Re: TSFX Head Start Program
I was going to go for english the one on Romulus and some of the other english modules..seems pretty popular...is it worth it you guys reckon?
well the guys who got second in mai school got 97 and not 98 so I guess they didn go quite so well as him in externals. Haha he said he had you on msn and I was like ahhh you know the guy and hes like nahh never met him xD Kamal is an absolute gun, still managed to get top 10 in everything...
Just to add to that, my chem accelerant who ended up getting third in the state in chem did the same thing raising everyones marks by about 2-3 aligned. Would you say this made a difference in the rankings considering 70 ppl do chem in my school?
bye bye to bio then?
You regret no way, this time from now you'l never look back! Theres still another state ranking in you yet! As corny as this sounds, our HSC year really tests us, whether we're ready for the next steps in our lives like UNI. Just depends how you view it, as a challenge or...
at the end of the day its how much of work do you think you can put in without sacrificing your other subs. Then you need to consider whether or not putting in all this work is actually effective and worth your time.
My old school was catholic and we had an option between three religious subs
1u SOR
2u SOR
and something called religious studies (dont ask me what it is, havent got the faintest clue)
Then again if you had to do 2u SoR wouldn't you have like 14 units?
ive noticed people all talk about making notes and studying/doing assessments but does anyone ever do hw other then like maths where you need to LOLL..at the start of yr 12 mai mates in mai class made a pledge to do all our chem work this year and lasted like 2 weeks when we got hit by our first...
well yeah but in a lot of cases like if you get below 95 it scales down heaps...not too sure but then again if i end up picking up band 6's/E4's for the rest il be quite pleased =P
I wish girra offered SOR but they never got enough students for it =[ bio hmms all mai mates score pretty bad but...
Makes you wonder though how you didn quite get 100 UAI, you deserved it mate.
I'd think my ancient might not count depending on how I do in chem or phys. I would be pretty sad if it doesnt count since Im third in the sub atm and consistently get 90+. Then again thats life and the sub is fun...
Ahh really =O yeah I heard he was tutoring but like you know how theres this rule you cant tutor other girraween students so Im guessing he tutors far far away LOL..Howard that guyy hes so funny, pulling a joke every 5 mins xD does he do that wid you guys?
