Exactly my thoughts. Q10 did not deserve to be q10, similar to q10a from last year's, should have been q8-9. The last triangle question was the only mark I didn't do, and so far the only mark lost - I know all my answers as I wrote them on the paper.
Re: Band 6 Raw?
I thought it was similar to last year's paper difficulty and q10 wise. So the cut-off will be similar to last year's, i.e. higher then normal.
Just remember that all papers are being scanned this year. Hence pencil may not be the best thing to use. Pen shows up better then pencil when scanning.
Cato? Wasn't he in number 3? I spent over an hour on it, and talked about everybody, fabius, scipio, micinius, macellus, longus, scipio's dad and uncle, flaminius and probably more. I basically just compared and contrasted the above.
I don't do the topic, so I am not 100% sure. However a few of the dot-points seem warfare related. e.g.'technology: weapons and armor', 'Significance of fortifications...', 'significance of warrior class'. Often ambigious dotpoints are exploited.
