if he is using 4GB he is going to need it otherwise he can only use 3.5 GB of RAM you can always run x86 programs in an emulator anyway

yeah the wind will only boot into windows, if windows in on standby or hibernate, the one thing i do not like, i used to have windows hibernated, and ubuntu shutdown on my old laptop. thanks for trying though

yeah it is on my wind Window is shut down, the wind would not boot from usb otherwise I have tried changing my bios settings too yeah i think i will have a look on the wind forums I have also tried to install the old ubuntu 7.04 but that would not work either
