I put 9,9,10 for the goals question. In the petrol question, she loses something like $2 as it's almost $7 for the 6 litres of petrol she uses. Technically I suppose you could say she doesn't lose any money as noone said she'd rebuy those 6L.

Today a friend of mine walked in then couldn't find his pens, so he raised his hand and asked if he could go get them. As he was walking out he realised they were in his pocket and he pulled like 10 out and went back to his desk. It's not as funny written as it was in real life :)

What did you think? History was easier than Geography IMHO - I didn't learn enough about how to write about issues and I don't know too much about fieldwork or anything. I was also confused on what aspect referred to in the multiple choice question with that mountain.

What did you think of it? Personally I think it was OK except Section 1 was too long for 30 minutes and a lot of people didn't finish all the questions in time.

Yeah, the problem is it's actually pretty hard to tell whether or not it's colour as the exam is printed black and white. But it's always better to be safe and say it's not colour.

It's not terrible, but it's a complete waste of time really. Some of it is inaccurate and most of it is trivial.

I think it's just an example to illustrate the question rather than a particular fact related to the question.

LOL! Yes, I've seen the certificates and they could easily be replicated. I would have just gone Ctrl-A Ctrl-C Alt-Tab (into Word doc) Ctrl-V and edited it from there, because I believe it was presented as a web page. Could make me look like I got 100% too. However, you don't know if BOS keeps...

If anyone here did 2005 while studying, could they say whether this one was harder or easier than 2005? I gather it was probably harder.

Imaginative was the criteria, I believe. I'd rate it good in the sense that it's creative but bad in the sense that it's not really comparable to anyone else.

I did multiple questions. I really really did badly on the interview task I had to do last term, so I made sure to get it right this time.

It's not compulsory to go into year 11, but it is compulsory to do sometime before completing your HSC. I haven't done it yet, but it's pretty easy. I've managed to find some errors and plain stupid questions in their tests though :P

It didn't say short story, it said imaginative writing piece other than poem or song. Most people did do a short story though.

I think so, but do we even get formal bands for the SC? (Can't be bothered to look it up.) I only got an A grade for my last SC exam in 2005, and a mark. edit: yes, we do, and it seems to appear on the certificate but not on Students Online.

I didn't think it too hard, but they were certainly awkward. Anyway... What did you get? I wrote the comparison with treading water, which to me was obvious. It's unbeaten, yes.
