My first preference was BA in Communication (Journalism) and in International Studies (Italy) at UTS. My 2009 ATAR was 94.85. The course cutoff is about 96.00. So, I might scrape in. My second preference is a Bachelor of Nursing/BA in International Studies, again, at UTS. The cutoff for that is...

Life's good. Doesn't look like I'll get into my course. I think I'll just take a year off and go visit my cousins in Italy. I don't use my real name on BoS (I tell people I'm called Federico, but I'm not), how about you?

    Anyone here receive 99.95 atar?

Actually, you can still do medicine at UWS with 95.00. And if you have a high UMAT score, and a successful medicine faculty interview, UNSW MB BS, Newcastle University/UNE B Med, Monash MB BS and JCU MB BS are all possible with a 95.00 ATAR. USyd Medicine isn't as good as it's cracked up to be...

    Pleeeease help, Bio or physics?!?!

Well the people from my school who got Band 6's were very intelligent. I often asked them Biology questions (that I was curious about) and they were able to articulate on the information from their text and explain it in their own words.

    2009 HSC Raw Marks

I reckon 99% would be equivalent to a raw HSC examination mark of ~116/120. :) I'm probably wrong but. I didn't do mathematics in Year 11 or Year 12, so please don't trust my estimation!

    Best HSC Biology option topic?

My girlfriend Patrizia did Communication in 2009. It's excellent. In my free periods I joined the Bio class and helped them dissect a brain, dissect an eye and model the structure of an ear. :) These body parts were all mammalian. And is it just me, or was the 2009 Biology paper really easy...

USyd is awesome. But got to ANU if you can make the move to the ACT. ANU's Bachelor of Laws takes four years instead of five (USyd) and it is probably the best undergraduate law degree in the country of Australia.

Your name is "x_jiim" An x is, at least in my family, written on birthday cards to mean, "kiss". x=kiss jiim=Jim=James. Therefore, your name means, "kiss_James". Hence, you love Jim/James. lol Your posts are funny too, just like your lame name, my girl.

    UNSW vs UWS Law

Not necessarily true. Private practice is a definite option and going into business guarantees you a job. You don't need to be with a law firm to be raking in the cash. Or you could even go pro-bono (not-for-profit) which is what a genuinely helpful lawyer does. Helping clients for free shows...
