They probably won't receive a UAI if they don't have the minimum qualifications.

The UAI is for those that complete the HSC only with the minimum amount of units, I would think, so those who don't do the HSC won't get a UAI.

Choose advanced, then drop down to standard if you feel you need to. Easier to move down to standard than to move up to advanced.

It's probably some error with the entering of subjects into the BoS database or something like that.

Well, they base the UAI on your rank within the Year 10 SC cohort of the past two years, so if you complete the HSC in 2007, then you are ranked according to your position in the Year 10 2005 cohort. So I think the dropouts would count.

Re: 回覆: Re: school rank? Rankings basically indicate what sort of HSC assessment mark you get after the HSC exams are over and done with. Your internal marks do not count, except for the differences between marks along ranks. What they do instead is take the exam marks your grade got in the HSC...

Compared to the distinction courses, Maths just does not seem all that interesting anymore :uhhuh: Although maybe that's because I haven't done maths work for 3 weeks :o

I do have to agree with that assessment.

It would probably go to those students who don't do the HSC at all i.e. drop out of school in year 10 or 11 or 12.

Cosmology. Or any of the distinction courses, but Cosmology is better than those ones. Winnar. But if I had to choose from one of the other subjects, I'd go with something like ... nah, I can't think of any real interesting courses out of the normal subjects.
