i will do this cos im a nice person
Im not gonna evaluate - cant be bothered - ur smart enough to do that - i will describe.
Get the iron thing and wash it repeatedly in a 5 - 10% weak base solution (e.g. NaHCO3). Do this over a period to wash the silt off, stop corrosion...
alrighty.
Talk about 3 or 4 polymers (polyethylene, polystyrene, polyvinylchloride and possible a biopolymer such as biopol (you may not have done that yet))
Talk about the monomer that makes them up, the reaction that occurs to produce the polymer, the physical properties of each...
did u sit the bio exam?
It was B or D.
B had stomates closed at midnight and noon, but open at dawn and dusk.
D had stomates closed at noon, open at midnight, and half open at dawn and dusk.
ive read things about whether the stomates are closed at night or not. MOST plants close them up at night (suggesting B) but other sources have said that light isnt the only factor determining when stomates open and close, and i would have thought that the stomates might stay open at night to...
Isotonic: free weights, cheap, accessable, simple, no full development of fibres, no uniformity in resistance
Isokinetic: machines, uses large muscle goups, gives full development cos of uniform resistance, expensive, not accessable.
what was so hard bout the options?
Fro sports med i said bout the hard tissue, then the 5 subheadings for the 6 marker then the 8 subheadings for the 10 marker.
For IP i put bout isotonic and isokinetic, then bout how sports psychologists can help then i wrote bout how a standard training...
yeah i got 14 cos i got q 1 wrong.
I think 11 is D. Just remember, you say that plants close the stomates at night cos theres no need for CO2 (no photosynthesis) but remember that plants need oxygen as well, and might leave the stomates open for standard respiration. They might as well, cos...
yep.
If i said i put 4.a, 1.a and 11.d, would i be right in saying that i got 14/15 ?
Boxhunter: dw too much. I just did a pe exam today and got 20/20 for its mc. Shouldnt be to hard.
Re: Hsc 2009 bio exam
(i know this is a bit late) but why would they be closed at midnight, when theres a cold temperature?
remember, plants need to open their stomates in the night to respire. Plants need oxygen to respire just like we do. Thats why theyd be open at night, so they can use...
just because it said 'parents', that doesnt stop you talking bout plants too. I used the effect of pH on flower colour.
When we hear 'parents' we think of tweo humans havin a good root, but theres nothing stopping 2 plants being parents of an offspring.
