If i dont get a UAI of 90+, i'm almost definatly going to take 3 units of HSC maths next year during my gap year. That way, it'll still be a pretty nice and relaxing break, but still give me something constructive to do, and also will increase my UAI :)

you're right. what i should of said is that he incorrectly qualified a declinable adjective. hence "may I ask how you arrive to that abysmal form of conclusion?" is much poorer grammar than "may I ask how you arrive at that abysmal conclusion?

Difficulty-wise, yes bio is virtually equivilant to earth&enviro science. Based on both domestic and global university/idustry demand, E&ES > Bio.

You are statistically wrong. Since HSC 1999, every single student who placed in the overall top 100 of the state, had at least two units in science counting towards their UAI. Moreover, there has never been a student who has recieved a UAI of 100.00, who did not take a science as part of their HSC.

With virtually all of the humanities, arts, and maths out of the way now, its time to start concentrating on the hardest subjects that really count - the SCIENCES. Prehaps you could say that finally the HSC is actually about to begin now. Over the next two weeks, the most intelligent students...

It was actually a really good paper. I made one or two stupid mistakes, but overall it felt like a raw mark in the low 80s - which is what i need. Glad to get it finished really.
