Possible to retake a HSC exam of the same subject next year, but not have to be enrolled in that subject again?

Yes, to retake HSC. No to doing HSC next year. If you are planning to do the same subjects for HSC, you have to redo that subject, even if you already know everything. NESA states: You can repeat one or more courses within the 5 years without a penalty. Your RoSA will report the results of all...

90+ atar and first rank without tutoring?

It's safer to secure a 99 with tutoring. Some people ik r just smart, they don't study, and yet they are topping class (top 5). Others that are in top 3 got tutored from different centres. My point? While some people might naturally excel academically without much effort, many others rely on...

Is Dropping to Standard Maths worth it?

Drop to standard at the end of this year. Not a lot of content will be carried through for yr 12, so just catch up on what u need for yr 12 during the long break, n u should be fine. Also, if u rlly rlly wanna drop, then drop. Otherwise, stay in adv. Btw, ppl in my adv class r sh-t fr, me n...

    Can I still get a 96 ATAR?

So many histories haha, but say you get 89 for history ext (in HSC, l think history ext is out of 50, so l'll say u got 44), you'll get roughly 90.05. l think this is because these subjects are low scaling, so... l used atar compass UAC to calculate your star based on what your current marks...

    Ranks VS Marks

If l am 1st in my cohort at school for a subject (eg math adv + ext or chem or bio or all of them including legal), but my marks were, lets say 75%, can l still apply for early offers and hope that l'll be accepted into the uni l want, or should l not bother at all, because others get 99s and...

Can some one help me with poetic techniques

Do you, by chance, have a table, docs or website that lists all the poetic techniques, how to analyse using them and examples of them? And maybe another table, or so, for general texts? Because l'm rlly struggling with techniques and i suppose its not smth that could be fixed overnight.

    Eng Adv Vs Standard

So say im doing maths ext + adv, legal, chem + bio, so do u think i should move in order to save my other grades? l'm getting in the high 90s for bio, math n legal, high 80s for chem, but for eng its a straight up 78%

    Eng Adv Vs Standard

l've heard from teachers and students that stan. eng is a lot easier n the workload is 50% less than adv english. Considering this, should l move from adv to standard? l'm scared whether or not that will bring my ATAR down, n currently, l'm 15th in my cohort of 95.
