    Generally if you don't understand the topic - you're in the shits with both assessments and assignments. However at least with assignments you can google the night before, plagarise and hope for the best :p

    Animal Farm was pretty cool in my opinion - I liked the way the pigs distributed the power unfairly and all the slavery that the other animals had to endure... that's probably because I like reading about political stuff.

    Well it depends on how much you BS. If you have written 90% of your essay as good pure facts, and you're just looking to add extra info with the hope of gaining extra marks, then make bs up... but make sure the bs sounds logical. However other than that... bs in an english exam - won't do you...

    Yeah to be honest, my Year 10 and Year 11 English teachers have been really good, they let us debate in class and have discussions - just you can't change me... I'll always like maths over english. QFT. This guy sits next to me in English :p

    I don't think it applies for maths - for the past few years the top of maths (both accelerated and non-accelerated) has changed every year - and I suspect it will change next year as well.

    Wow... sucks to be sitting an exam in your room. We have our exams in the Year 12 rooms, because you can fold up the walls and make it into a hall. It's upstairs so it's generally quiet and also we use the same tables we always use in class.

    Year 11 would be a better indicator because it's closer to the HSC course. However keep in mind that when calculating the UAI they will estimate what everyone who sat the School Certificate would've gotten and base it on that.     I liked animal farm, it was really interesting how the animals were portrayed as being in control and the corruption that was present.
