I've done the 2U HSC course this year - and it's not bad; however it does get more difficult in comparison to Year 11. But I'd personally hang on to 2U - at least for a while - because you aren't ranked TOO badly. Or you could drop maths altogether - better option in my opinion.

Damn.... I usually write about - rape - death - cancer (wrote that in the SC! - dunno how I integrated that with laughter) - marriage or bf/gf BTW - I'm not a sad emo person or anything like that - I just thought they would increase creativity - I do not support or enjoy any of those ideas...

Wow, that seems hard. I'd prefer a pen/paper exam anyday - with the exception of the English Paper - hate english!

Don't think that's good for you. I try and sleep 6-7 hours a night.

Energy drinks and stuff don't really affect me - like I've tried it once... I don't end up burning out - but i don't think it helps. I like coffee though... keeps me awake and I find it pretty nice to have in the morning.

The fact that everything counts will probably make me work harder. Year 11 finished for me today ... we had the prefect investiture and a talent quest - so nice way to finish.

Cramming ftw! Don;t really understand how you can cram for a speaking task though... doesn't it come naturally?

Re: School captainincy nominations Thanks. Had my prefect investiture today... got my badge! I'm sure you've got a good chance. But even if you don't get it - doesn't really matter, you can focus on getting dux instead.

I wouldn't drink an energy drink before an exam....personally I think it wouldn't make a difference. But then again - I can't really talk - I drink coffee before an exam.

Same here. I managed to use up 2 96 pg grid books. Now I just waste a whole heap of loose leaf paper - works better in my opinion.

Re: Distinction Courses Thanks for the info. It's a shame they're planning on cutting the Distinction Course - that's like one of the best aspects of the HSC and one that truly caters for the Gifted and Talented.

Wow that's cool - we don't have much of a relationship with our sister school. My school's all boys - so we have all boys in our classes - makes sense? However - we generally only have subjects which would be predominantly male in a co-ed school.

Most Catholic Schools won't let you drop religion - they'll probably only let you drop to Catholic Studies - which is alright because it's only a Board Endorsed Course - therefore it won't count for your UAI. I'm thinking (if I keep 4U maths/get into philosophy) of dropping Sofware Design and...

Re: Distinction Courses Cool. Same here! I'm pretty sure they have new forms for every year - so you would just submit the 2009 expression of interest form - when it comes out. Yeah - I think I'd probably completely forget.
