For the second question, convert sec4x to sec2x * sec2x, then convert one of the sec2x terms into 1 + tan2x, expand the brackets and then integrate. You might need the substitution u = tan x for one of those terms.

I'm doing Cosmology this year, so I'm going to be biased in my assertion that Cosmology > Philosophy :) But yeah, go to the Infomation Day held later this year, and if you are still interested, then apply for it, by all means :uhhuh:

I strongly suggest you do consider doing a Distinction Course, it's a pretty damn good experience, from what I've experienced so far :uhhuh:

Extension 2 maths in itself is 2 units, yes, but when you do extension 2 maths, it comes out that way for a total of 4 maths units :uhhuh:

Well, I've been pretty much doing the same as you and coping with it so far, but I doubt it will actually work later on. I would say it's not impossible to pull if off, but really, really improbable, you would probably have to put in the effort and remove the procrastination and the last minute...

I'd have liked to have pushed the extension 2 maths exam to a day before Thursday on the second week, oh well :( Thanks, it'll eventually get cleared up.

I've got two major problems with that timetable, but I digress. The thing I'm trying to fix up now is reconciling the English Paper 2 exam with my Cosmology exam, that runs at the same time on that first Wednesday. Oh well :(
