Some tutors really care. If you're like more than 10minutes late they sometimes refuse to mark you present. And if you're at the Parra campus most tutorials/lectures are held in the same building so it shouldn't take long to get where you need.

Also they may ask for Photo ID and bring your transport concession card slip or fill one out at the student office aswell as they process both together.

I paid for the Herald card ($20 I think) And the Telegraph was paid for by the uws union. In the first week they had a stall. (There is also the Australian)

You don't need a laptop for business subjects, especially in the first week. Just bring an exercise book for each subject with pens so you have somehwere to slip unit outlines etc and record your lecturer/tutors contact details as paper is easily lost when you need to email someone in the last...

No problem. It was pretty stupid of them to redesign a new library page but have half the links missing. Old unit outlines can now be found: http://library.uws.edu.au/unit_outline.phtml
