Advice on the treatment of these dotpoints

What is the proper name for this piece of equipment? Don't know if it's called a pipette or not (because I think pipettes are generally associated with the accurate glassware variety, not the plastic eyedropper type), but what are those eyedropper that you use to draw solutions for transferring...

Advice on the treatment of these dotpoints

Re: Would the net ionic equation for this reaction be identical to the 'normal' react So, would this be the net ionic equation? NH3(aq) + CH3COOH(aq) --> NH4+(aq) + CH3COO-(aq)

Advice on the treatment of these dotpoints

Would the net ionic equation for this reaction be identical to the 'normal' reaction? NH3(aq) + CH3COOH(aq) --> NH4CH3COO(aq) I can't split up acetic acid into its separate ionic specimens as it's weak, but what about ammonium acetate? I'm guessing it's soluble in water, so should I split it...

    Mosque puts fatwa on christmas

Its things like these that give Muslims a bad name. I feel sorry for them actually, having their religion insulted just because of a few, attention-seeking people within the Muslim community. The media isn't helping much either

    Favourite airline?

Yeah I'm a big reader of the Civil Av forums (especially the Australian Aviation Thread), but the trip report posts are a God-send! I think I go on that website thrice daily (I hate koruman with a passion though). I've always wondered why internet trolls were absent from that website, and why...

What exactly is 'rote learning' in maths?

Rote learning basically prevents you from enjoying the subject. I see where you're coming from, but what's wrong with enjoying what you're doing? The numerous epiphanies that result from not rote learning are enjoyable and good for study anyway

How hesitant are you when revealing your marks?

Come results time, there's a lot of "Omg what'dya get?" etc. So how hesitant are we when it comes to revealing our marks, good or bad, to others? I personally don't care that much, even if my marks are bad (got <50% for Eng. Adv. yearly and practically told people my mark without them even...

    Favourite airline?

You like your oneworld airlines aye? I personally found Jet Airways the best, at least on their A330s (dunno what they're like on their domestic flights, but apparently, they're pretty good there too)

    Favourite chopin mazurka?

I think that one's actually fairly popular (more so than op59 no1 :( ). Yeah the weirdness really feels like a bad taste at first sometimes, but sets in quite well

    Favourite chopin mazurka?

Lol Asian parents and the piano, such a popular stereotype (and many seem to fit that stereotype too). Yeah that ones a wonderful one too :) Did you by chance, play it for a grade 6 exam?
