3 month holiday for me too once my exams are done... got a couple of things, work and make $$, work on a website, work on some video editing, and more programming/webcoding in general. Should be interesting :D

this is nothing, one of my friends was addicted to diet coke, that's all he ever had and milk sometimes (or so he claimed) and only 3 weeks ago did he quit drinking diet coke (i've known him for 8 years... and diet coke was his life). I drink softdrinks/coke when there's no cold water to drink...

Seagate has a pretty bad reputation, 8GB ram isn't required... all ram is mostly the same, it doesn't really matter on the brand that much, Corsair/Kingston is ok if you're saving money. I have a WD Caviar Black, love it :)

Just get a whole new computer system, it'll cost you 800-1000 and it'll last you 2-3 yrs too (maybe more depends) DIY
