Yeah for some reason I have a good relationship with teachers too. They let me do all the bad stuff in class. When others do it (eg the "dumber" people in our class) they usually get seriously told off. There's a close link between students' performance and the attitude the teachers have...

Aww don't be so harsh. You gotta learn somehow, right? :p School assessments matter in that they define your rank. That is, they determine the other 50% of your final mark. That's where the notion came from (that school assessment marks count towards 50% of your final mark)

The school environment is better in year 11. In year 12 you have to buckle down and try not to get suspended. Ahh well at least you know it's nearly finished. It's totally worth it.

Use the ways of living that are presented in those poems. Eg. Being fat, girls being self-conscious, going back into the past, different cultures etc etc oh and by they way they refer to the poems: eat, girls, back to melbourne, christmas - respectively ;) hope that helps

Did you punch in your scores into SAM? Don't worry about that too much. It's sometimes misleading. Perhaps you could post up your score and your ranks and I'm sure some of the experienced members of this forum would be kind enough to give you a rough estimate of what UAI you should expect...

I didn't/never will cry over school. I believe it's a sign of weakness.

I want you to go badly because you're not going to achieve your goal anyway. So why don't I just get that 0.00001 extra UAI points off you. Who cares if it rounds off to nothing, as long as it came from people like you I'm happy.

my class finished about 1.5 months ago. we just do past papers now.. i finished even before that thread starter: your not abnormally ahead. maths mostly consists of practicing..
