One thing you should definitely do is learn to mental plan i.e. Prepare your thesis during the reading time in your head and so as soon as the 40 min begins, you can immediately start writing. Also change pens to a smooth ballpoint. I use papermate inkjoy and i higly recommend. Other than that...

Based on last year's exam, does anyone know what a raw mark of 88 will align to in English? I found that it becomes a 94 for 2014, but want to know for last year coz syllabus change

Do as many past papers as possible. Whatever questions you can't answer, read over that particular section.

Idk, they're usually not this poor. 2nd,3rd and 4th got 90s with me in half yearlies. I genuinely dont know what happened. True, i think most of them struggle with exam technique

Chem got delayed till tomorrow. Secured 1st for 4u with a 93 Phys.....i flunked. Got 4th in the exam and 5 marks behind 1st. I may have dropped from 2nd to 3rd (cumulative rank). Still really salty about it
