Business Studies doesn't necessarily scale higher. It also depends on what you like and what you are good at. My school isn't a very high ranking school however our Year 12 SDD class last year got all band 5s and band 6s so it is possible.
Yeh, I'm more of a maths person and umm we haven't had internal HSC exams yet, we just started the 2u/3u work a few weeks agao - so we have to race through 6 units of work by August (half-yearlies).
Hey lyounamu, thanks for the advice!
Well if I drop Ext. English I get 5 study periods a cycle, and at my school if we dont get over 80% they'll drop us anyway - and I dont think I'll get over 80.
Yeah Fitzpatrick has some really hard examples - pretty hard compared to Coroneous and some other text books. I reckon our topic test won't be as hard though.
Its actually not that hard, most of it's year 10 stuff, like Angle of elevation/depression, exact values, sine/cos rule. The main new stuff is just sec, cosec and cot, and like ratios - so shouldnt be that hard (whether you're accelerated or not).

I agree that there is no 'crappy' school, however of course there are some schools better than others, but I believe it depends on what you do at school that counts, not what school you go to.
I used to do two tpyes of taekwondo, International and World (same stuff really, just different patterns). Got up to red belt, then quit to focus on school =[
Well from Yr 11 2008, the mainly active people are just myself and dpospination, from what I can see and there are a few others not from our year group. it probably looks like we're nerds cause we post a lot - which in theory is bad because we should be studying. Although dpospination is a...
I'm accelerating in 2u maths this year, and hopefully they'll let me accelerate in 3u as well. I did the 2u course in year 10, but I wasnt going so well so i chickened out and didn't sit the HSC exam though.
