You don't get in bed and have deep conversations at the beginning of a relationship. He needs something that provides an escape from awkwardness and is at the same time fun.

    help with formal jewelery

This isn't L&R! :p Move your butt to Fashion & Lifestyle. If it's for the formal, your safest option is to go shopping with her. Only very few guys understand girls' taste in fashion. :p It also depends on what type of dress she's wearing, and what colour.

    confused ><! one sided communication

I agree with the above. Sometimes you just find yourself with nothing interesting to say. If he's just tired, studying or multi-tasking, then it's not such a big deal that he's not talking much. But if he's not busy and just gives one-worded answers while you talk your brains out, then...

Movies aren't boring if you're not watching it... But yeah! Galaxy world is fun. :uhhuh: Except you can't really spend a whole day there. :p My favourite place to go with my boyfriend is just taking a walk around Darling Harbour, maybe watch a movie, and karaoke. It's not too...

    Presents for your significant other

If you want something different, you need to think of something unique based on what you know about him. I always gave my boyfriend hand-made presents. Sure, you could always buy cologne and clothes, but something you took the time to make yourself has a lot more meaning. :)

Somewhere where you're not forced to talk to each other the whole time - just in case you run out of things to say. :p A movie is always good. :)

last minute advice on creative writing plz plz help asap

A third-person perspective is always more challenging than a first-person perspective, as you have to make assumptions on their thoughts and feelings. It's not a bad idea. The simplest ideas work the best.

What Prac do you think will be tested?

Oh we had a battery one as well. It was comparing in terms of chemistry. I freaked out when I read the question, and wrote (no exaggeration) 2 A4 pages on it. I did get the 4 marks, but I still don't know exactly which 4 points I had that were relevant.

    Attention All Chemistry Tutors

Hmm, Castle Hill is not too bad. I know someone who lives there, who is really good at Chemistry. If he wants to tutor you, that would be perfect. :p

Does section III take you the longest?

The thing you have to keep in mind is that they're all worth the same amount of marks. My section III was a whole hour when I finished it. I had to cut huge paragraphs out because I can't spend just half an hour on each of the other sections. I think that section I shouldn't take 40...

    House M.D.

That was one of my favourite episodes! A pregnant woman has stage 4 (or 3, I can't remember) lung cancer, but doesn't want to do radiation therapy because she's scared of hurting her baby. Her and her husband have been wanting a baby for a long time, and they finally have it, but the kid's...

    Attention All Chemistry Tutors

I'm free for tutoring next year. You can choose whether you want to come to my house or I go to yours. :p I attent a selective school which is ranked 23rd in the state, and I've been consistent in Chemistry since year 11. I came first in the final preliminary exams and maintained a position...

Relationships and Next Year (AFTER the hsc)

I still think of internet users as being real people, especially here, when I know a few of you. Like I said before, if you're not gloating about a girl you're in love with, you're not going to understand people who are happy with their relationships, and answering a question asked by the...

    titration prac

Hmm, let me think. With procedures, it's quite clear what you have to do, but there are a few important factors, mostly associated with cleaning: Wash the burette once with distilled water, then twice with the solution which it will hold. Wash the pipette once with distilled water, then...

    titration prac

Oh, I doubt it. But you do know how strong and weak acids react with strong and weak bases, right? If you do, then even if they do ask for titration graphs, you'll be fine. Remember that for weak acids reacting with weak bases, the equivalence point isn't clear. The graph is curved and...

We usually do NaOH and CH3COOH. What kind of notes do you need? The procedure, calculations, safety precautions, cleaning of equipment, all of the above? :)

    Online hsc help!

You don't need to post it in every subject to be noticed. :p There was already a thread in the Chemistry forum about this website. It was deleted by the threadstarter, but we know about the site now. :)

Relationships and Next Year (AFTER the hsc)

Gosh, does it bother you that much? Are my posts so good that you can't bear having me on ignore? As far as I'm concerned most of my posts are either in L&R or Chemistry. If you're pulling your hair out because you're afraid that my boyfriend really is sexier than yours then you may avoid these...

Relationships and Next Year (AFTER the hsc)

Aww, it's ok. I'm sick of a lot of things too. You just can't have everything in a life. L&R is relevant because here, not only me, but a whole lot of other people talk about their wonderful relationships. That's right, it's not all about breaking up and cheating. What a concept...
