I wouldnt place much weight on 2. What i would say is that USYD law is much better and the chance of you landing a good job after are much better with usyd. of course if you dont get the transfer then you have problems.

The UNSW by a mile. One of the best engineering universities in the country and you come out after 5 years with much better qualifications

anyone who thinks repeating HSC is a good idea is a complete idiot. With a 95 ATAR, go do sciene for a year.. re write UMAT and if you do semi decently thats enough for james cook at least

YES YES OH YES! So completely agree with this post. Theres some thing though about you cant 'hate on arts or disadvatange kids who arent smart' and thats why the system is what it is.

Thats a really stupid way of looking at it. If you'll get into the course you want you should be proud. Its all that matters. In a few months no one is going to give the slightest fuck what your exact atar was.

This is the most important thing. ATAR is there to get you into uni. Once you are in no one gives a fuck. Ive never been asked my ATAR in my time at uni and never asked anyone else theirs because its completely irrelevant. Great also to see the attitude you have of 'yeah could have worked...

Yeah I mean you cant do average atar because people will get angry at ATARs being in the public domain But as the post above said, the system puts an 89 in the same class as a 50 for a subject... i.e. a non band 6 script. It also puts a state ranking in a subject the same as a 90 for the...

nah they dont do the IB. Remember though that the system for school rankings counts state ranks the same as a 90 so thats probably why.
