Can someone please explain the Wrinkler method is simple terms?

It's part of measuring dissolved oxygen in water, for which the oxygen-sensitive electrode can also be used. The dot point is: Identify that water quality can be determined by considering ... dissolved oxygen. It does not specifically state that we need to know how the electrode or...

a - We're not clear on which answer is correct. "Poncey" is not a word. b, c and d are empty insults. Leave your rude remarks out of educational forums. Consider your post reported. EDIT: Nosadness, we don't know each other.

I don't mean to make her sound like even more of an idiot, but she doesn't know me, not even on BoS, as she's had only 3 posts. :p We're going with phenyl ethene, but maybe we should write both phenyl ethene and benzylethene in the exam just to be safe. Do the last 6 posts all belong to...

How are you studying for Chem?

Look up, I already answered that question. Phenylethene is not the polymer name. Mednez: Frustrating, huh? Try going to a tutoring class where a the teacher is a real chemist (gasp!) who contradicts everything you're taught at school. :p

How are you studying for Chem?

I really don't know. IUPAC should organise themselves. :p I say stick with benzyl ethene. The other ones could be right but benzyl ethene is logical. The polymer is not phenylethene. :p Additional polymers usually start with "poly". The polymer is polystyrene, and if you fancy...

How are you studying for Chem?

Lol! :p I just don't know who to believe anymore. Every teacher has told us that benzyl ethene is the accepted answer, CC says otherwise, and apparently so does the site up there. :p At this point I'm thinking benzyl ethene and ethenylbenzene are more likely to be correct. CC's...

I know, it has mistakes too - such as naming styrene as phenylbenzene. I still love it. Probably because I'm so used to it. :p
