Yeah it's ture they extended the 2004-05 english syllabus area of study 'journeys' till 2007. Well at least we'll have a ton of resources and stardards from 04-06. Poor 2008's they get the new SC syllabus and they've got the new 08 english HSC syllabus ahead of them...

Most selective schools have accelerated classes, some private and normal government schools may have accelerated classes but ive never heard of a non-selective school which has accelerated classes.

In my school and most other selective schools you get chosen in yr 9 to sit the school certificate early and if u do well they accelerate you. If your school has an accelerated bio class ask the teacher of the accelerated bio class to test you or consider accelerating you.

You will get told about UMAT in yr 12 and about med interviews so dont worry about it just yet your still in yr 10, just focus on school at the moment.

I go to a selective school, they put extensions in the subject lines and practicaly force you to do EXT 1 Maths and English or u can do SLARS or Photography for a year.

You do the UMAT(University Medical Acceptance Test) halfway through yr12. The test is basically an IQ/logic test which is required by virtually all the universities that offer medicine in Australia.

Cambridge dosent have that many examples, especially for the harder questions. Also if your into harder questions get Fitzpatrick 2&3U prelim most of the tuition centres use fitzpatrick.
