lmao i was going to do that originally but realised esterification has a lot of the stuff they asked for so went for that

for real, using a heating mantle is the only way to save humanity from open flames

when nesa finishes their essay on how esterification is extremely dangerous, globally catastrophic because esters are volatile, but the one true kryptonite of this is Fischers process of acid reflux 😍

    omg you literally predicted it

me talking about estérification for 8 pages 😬 surely i get 8 marks because they can’t be bothered to read it

    Physics predictions?

tbf i'd prefer those two questions over getting 'discuss the evidence for the standard model'

fair enough, don't think any of us would complain at a quick revision question anyway

    Physics predictions?

No problem- for questions like these if you're getting a brain freeze just take a look at the reference sheet for a refresher, it has VpIp=VsIs on it which may have been useful. Edit: An interesting thing to post on the predictions thread, lmao

    Physics predictions?

    Thought process: 1. Since the transformers are ideal, power is constant throughout the circuit. 2. The load circuit tells us that P=VI=5*24=120W 3. Vp/Vs = Np/Ns ==> 240/Vs = 1000/500 = 2 ==> Vs=120V 4. P=VI, I=P/V=120/120=1.0A So C. LMK if i'm wrong, haven't looked at this content for a while...

You would only lose one mark for that, you’ll get a carry through for the final answer being slightly off.

TL 14a is incorrect: their substitution for (0,1) is done incorrectly, C should equal -2ln2. Also, 14b has an incorrect conclusion (correct method however) 14d can remove ambiguity from choosing which solution by solving the quadratic eq (1) on the pdf w.r.t sqrt(n) rather than squaring both...

‘only 90’ isn't going to get me my state rank 😭 … quite literally going to get a higher raw in e2 than e1 at this point :( i’m actually fuming, i’m pretty sure I got 15/15 in Q14 but I made way too many tiny errors across the paper in the easy questions 😤

    Physics predictions?

    1. In your study of Physics, you have conducted numerous practical investigations. Discuss the relevant physics principles and procedures behind the following two practical observations of kinematics, in which objects; i) spin in funky circles ii) move towards big tings 2. How does electricity...

I also don't think 4pi/3 is correct? both Rsinalpha and Rcosalpha would be negative in Q3, i think alpha has to be in Q4?

    Mathematics Extension 1 HSC thoughts

I don't believe so, Rsinalpha > 0 in the second quadrant

the question gave that f had domain in all real x so the range of inverse should be in all real x, which it isn’t for g, so it can’t be the inverse.

Well, 2^2=2*2 so it’s only natural to follow that 3^2=3*2 😎😎

I haven’t looked at your solutions so I’m not sure your methods, but I just defined X~Bin(n,0.95) where n is number of tickets sold, and X is the event where the passenger DOES go on the flight. By the managements decision: P(X>350)<0.01 P(X=<350)<0.9900 taking the maximum case for maximum...
