    I've been told that if it's 2 marks, they don't, but if its 4+ it's likely they do want a conlusion. I've always been taught to write: as ture of n=1, true for n=1+1=2 and for n=2+1=3 and so on for all positive integers n.

    If they can see it, yes. Papers go through a lot of sorting and shuffling etc.. so if it hasn't rubbed off you'll be fine.

    i'm pretty sure that in a past paper, T^2 was placed on the y axis. the question included that 2 guys did the experiment, then one graphed it and the other tabulated it. which is more accurate. DW i know the answer.

    so u had 5C3(1/4)^2 (3/4)^3 ? One mark probably, but that would carry on to part ii) so 2 marks lost altogther out of 5. I actually had 5C2 and i wsn't sure which one it was, but they're equal which is good. If u calculate it, it's quite a small fraction, which i wrote down. I think...

    What happes in the dux's HSC mark is averaged with the top mark in the school. So the first person will get the average of 65+75/168. that is if nobody got between 65 and 75 in the HSC. the second person would get the same mark in this case...
