    Computer the Future?

Yeah...if we typed using a piano... My logic tellls me that computer nerds would be at an advantage as fast typing speeds kinda directly related with typing fast:P

    Computer the Future?

I doubt it....handwritting is a fundamental skill that they wouldn't risk losing. There's also the cost of infrastructure and the massive advantage that fast typists would have over slow typists etc.

Heterophobic hotel wins right to exclude non gay patrons

I'm glad you acknowledged it however it wasn't really necessary Because a jester hat is so reasonable. There was no economic standard imposed by the club, there was a dress code. Please take the initiative to understand what is being said as you seem to be very far off the mark. If a...

Heterophobic hotel wins right to exclude non gay patrons

No probs. I wrote my post before you posted it just got distracted before posting. The terms of entry to a club imposing a dress code are very different as the determining factor is one that can be changed. The homeless person wasn't discriminated against for who they were, it was just by...

Heterophobic hotel wins right to exclude non gay patrons

How does that even almost draw a comparison? A strict relgious person can choose not to go to a strip club just as a heterosexual can choose not to go to a homosexual bar. If they don't like the atmosphere they don't have to go in. No, its discrimination on the basis of sexual preference...

Heterophobic hotel wins right to exclude non gay patrons

I wasn't actually proposing that:P. My example was to highlight the response that would happened if that would occur. If this case wasn't a one off we're probably going to end up with straight v gay hotels/clubs etc which will only highlight differences. I don't really see any good coming from...

    Escaping UWS?

Achieving a UAI in the 90's does not equate less motivated. By that logic essentially everyone who isn't doing law or medicine at USYD/UNSW isn't motivated, no matter what university they go to. But are those assumptions genuine or is just university legend about the UWS student. To call...

    Escaping UWS?

I had the UAI to get into most uni's for law as a fee-paying student and hecs course such as commerce at usyd but I really wanted to do law and didn't want to spend so much money. (I would have done medicine if I actually did umat:P) I made the choice for UWS because it allowed me to study the...
