Wow, that was incredibly painful to read - couldn't u have tried to type complete words?....but, I guess you should be congratulated. I'm surprised anyone whose posts are that poor would get such a great UAI...

So if the only difference is the extra year, does that mean the overall study level is just lighter? (due to it being more spread out) Correct me if I'm wrong, but this seems a little easy. The UAI component especially appears quite low - compared to the 99 or so required for under-grad entry...

Oh I get it now, I assumed the Government would subsidise the losses incurred by Uni's, but instead the spots are going to international students.... Way to go Rudd Government

Haha, lolz at the "get the f#ck out" reactions. I think i would be so cut at myself if i got a poor result that my parents would back off...

English Ext 2 can be a very contentious subject though, as it only takes a single external marker to not "get" the major work and you could receive a poor mark. Still, 24 marks in an extension course is a massive difference, that must suck :(

Wow, what a cheery thread. I'd try anything - such as writing letters to Uni's - to try and gain entry to your course, if you're really set on it. Best of luck..

So, for this example, do u and "Mr Smith" go to the same school? If so, does this mean ur school assessment marks dont matter anymore, only the school ranks? And once ranks are decided, they are used for equating the exam marks of the various students....? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only...

sarcasm No, tutoring is for fools. What you need to do is drop to Standard - your results will pick up immediately, and you can then forget about any of life's hassles as you coast through to a UAI of 99.5 (at least). You can trust me, random person, I'm only looking out for your best...
