    "Smart kid", bad grades

Unfortunately, the HSC is based on having good exam technique and excellent preparation, rather than natural ability to critically think I think you can just buckle down and study hard, there isn't any other advice anybody can give you. It's up to you to work hard.

I know the physics teacher Nexus is referring to, and she is batshit crazy. She just wants to measure student development.

The 3% for history extension, is that because they is a board of studies requirement to have a half-yearly? Is your school just doing that so they fulfill those requirements? Because that seems a bit weird

I use Chem contexts at school, It's not as great as everybody makes it out to be. It explains concepts well, but the practice questions are terrible. Does anybody know a Chem book, besides Conquering Chem, with good questions?

someone please clarify that 11 units is safe.

Congrads for the 1st place! To me, I think 10 units is perfectly safe, its all about how comfortable you feel with your subjects. If I become comfortable with 4U, I'll drop another subject, so I'm at 10 units. But right now, I'm unsure about how I'll go, so I'm staying on 12 units.

I reckon KitchenSinky knows what he is talking about For me, I have work at 10am every Sat + Sun, as well as morning classes for all but one day on my fortnightly timetable. I think my body is getting used to not sleeping in, I sort of don't mind it. I might start siestas straight after school...

Accidentally didn't go to class for a period

You're the baddest of them all. Get the work you missed from a mate, and it'll be all good. Don't feel bad, I think I'm more productive on my free periods than in class listening to a teacher dictate about a subject they truly know nothing about.

Lol wtf 16 units, are you doing a tafe course? It doesn't make much sense to do a tafe course AND 3U/Physics/Chem, I suggest drop the tafe course and do 3U Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
