    First in course?

I imagine you'll state rank (just maybe not first place) in at least one of chem or MX2 - I think full state rank lists get released tmr

    ATAR results/reveal thread

I did (at 2am). They were pretty close to what I expected / hoped for. Biggest annoyance was no B6 for english (got 88) but I was delusional to think I could B6 english with the completely minimal study I did for it. Also filmed my results "reaction" today for an ATAR reaction vid

I think Victoria gets their ATAR's before us (like they got their's today) as there are already some VCE ATAR reactions for 2022 on youtube

    Study Schedule suggestions

Attached is my trials study schedule. But you need to work out between now and your HSC how / where / when you study best. For me I found that I could sustainably do one english essay in the morning and then two three hour past papers plus marking them. During year 12 I would often go to the...

    Learning 3U by myself

I don’t think you’ll be in that bad of a position. As others said uni will go through it all plus advanced already has calculus in it (but more advanced calculus like integration by parts and the use of partial fractions is probably useful to learn). Maybe familiarise yourself with vectors in a...

    SRS offer

I think (?) you need to accept it but don't need to enroll in classes yet. Pretty sure you should get a Macquarie uni ID number and then stop there

How do I memorise my quotes better and more succinctly?

Here's what I did (the night before each english exam lol) 1. Put the first letter of each quote together for each paragraph and then think of something to remember that if you can (e.g. one of my 1984 paragraph's first letters was OWAHDM which sorta sounds like my english teacher's name) 2...

which subjects are mainly revolved around maths or require many calculations?

I would say that the concepts themselves in physics are harder than chemistry. However, I don't think the topics in physics are getting tested to their full extent in the HSC so you can get away with a non-perfect understanding of some topics. Chemistry however seems to require a more in-depth...

    UNSW Co-Op Interviews

If I'm correct (I think I am) you do one interview and the sponsor for your top preference (in this case compsci I assume) will be present at the interview along with UNSW people. Then if the compsci sponsor doesn't like you for whatever reason, but UNSW does like you then they offer you up to...

What is the point of a textbook deposit?

Yea and then the school makes them pay. No idea what happens if they refuse to pay (or can't) tho.

What is the point of a textbook deposit?

Oh lol our school literally does what you have suggested. We had a "sign out day" after the last HSC exam to go give all our textbooks back.

    something about paper 1/reading task

My teacher said take the number of marks, subtract one then use that many quotes and wanted us to have a brief topic sentence (perhaps introduce the human experience you will be talking about). And then for the later 5+ mark questions (often involving two texts) have a more detailed topic...
