I'm don't know. All we've learnt is the 2-unit stuff without the formulae stuff.

But we haven't learnt that method at Harry's yet. So we have to use a different method. :S

If the equation x^2 + 2x + k = 0 contains real and distinct roots with k >0, prove that the roots of the equation x^2 + 2kx + 1 =0 are imaginary. Please help. I don't know how to go about doing this.
