Who reckons 9C and 10B were the hardest question???

I say 7b, since I am not 100% sure I got that right.

OMG!! did we get slipped a GENERAL paper???

Hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Well, the last 2 questions were (in my opinion) easier than past papers. I gotta say that the 3 mark geometry questions were slightly harder than the past ones though.

What do u think u got?

    METHOD 2: (The way I did it) d/dx (x-2)ln (x-2) = (x-2)/(x-2) + ln (x-2) = ln (x-2) +1 Therefore ∫ (ln (x-2) +1)dx = (x-2)ln (x-2) ∫73 ln (x-2) dx = [(x-2)ln (x-2)]73 - ∫73dx = 5ln5 - 3ln 1 - [x]73 = 5ln 5 - 7 + 3 = 5ln 5 - 4

What do u think u got?

    Solutions to 10a) y = ln (x-2) ey = x - 2 x = ey + 2 A = 7ln 5 -∫ln 50(ey + 2)dy = 7ln 5 - [ey + 2y]ln 50 = 7ln 5 - [eln 5 + 2ln 5 - e0 - 2(0)] = 7ln 5 - 5 - 2ln 5 + 1 = 5ln 5 - 4

What do u think u got?

I got every single question out. Just not sure if they're right or wrong, so I'll say 115-119 (please, don't let me have more than 5 marks of careless!)

    Questions

I don't understand why you correlated the volume with the equilibrium reaction. Volume isn't a direct factor - it's pressure. Volume only contributes to the shifting of equilibrium because it adds/takes away pressure. So I don't really understand the post xD Maybe we should just stick to...

    Help please

    Expand out the right bit. (Ax+1)^2+B(x-2)+C = A2x2+2Ax + 1 + Bx - 2B + C = (A2)x2 + (2A + B)x + (1 - 2B + C) (collect like terms) Equate coefficients of terms x2, x and the constants with the equation, ie. 9x2 + 4x + 16 So A2= 9, (2A + B) = 4, (1 - 2B + C) = 16 ________________ A = 3...

    Questions

Haha. The pressure-dependent equilibrium constant isn't even in the syllabus. The K we learn in HSC is the temperature dependent equilibrium constant, so we don't actually need to kill brain cells like this at all =P But just for interest xD

    Year 10ers relax

What the best thing you chould do in year 10 is not to revise year 10 topics dramatically, but give yourself a head start on year 11 stuff. Once you finish studying year 11 stuff yourself, and when people are still learning year 11 stuff, you can start on year 12 stuff. This will give you a...

What do you mean by "normal"? And can you explain why it doesn't change the initial ratio? Haven't my previous post showed that there is a change from the initial ratio? Sorry if I'm not following what you are trying to communicate, but if I interpreted it correctly - that you want to say that...

    Questions

Yes, pressure increases the concentration of all substances. It increases the products, in this example, more. There're less moles of reactants, and more moles of products. Why would this not change the ratio? Let's use an example that's simpler to use: N2O2(g)<==> 2NO(g)...

So if i f##k up one subject, and I mean COMPLETELY f it up....

Depends on a few factors: - What are your other subjects? - How well are you doing in your other subjects? - Can you redefine completely f##k up in a more realistic way? - Until what level would you consider it as a major effect on your UAI?
