Paper? :o
You better apply for those scholarships, and get them as well :p
You should rest up, you've got a big day ahead of you tomorrow, if I remember correctly :uhhuh:
Aww, that sucks :( Feeling any better now?
Ok, so you are given S12 = 186 and T20 = 83
So 186 = n/2 * [2a+(n-1)d]
n = 12,
186 = 6(2a+11d)
31 = 2a + 11d ... (1)
and
83 = a + 19d ... (2)
[(2)*2] 166 = 2a + 38d ... (3)
Subtract (1) from (3), so you have
135 = 27d
d = 5
Sub d into (2), so that
83 = a + 95
a = -12
So...
I use both, no idea which one's its supposed to be.
So how DO you say it? :p Also forgot to ask how your day was in my PM to you, so how was your day beanie? =)
Nah, it's pretty average in scaling, not bad, not good either. Changes every year though.
Well I did extension 1 maths last year, so that leaves me this year with Cosmology, Extension 1 English, Extension 2 Maths, Physics, Legal Studies and SOR 1.
Multiply the equation by (x-1)2, makes it easier to work it.
Therefore you would have (x2-4)(x-1) > 0
(x+2)(x-2)(x-1) > 0
Sketch the graph, and just look for where the graph is above the x-axis.
Wish we could've gone out into the oval today, damn retreat keep us inside during the rain :( Mind you, the thunder sounded pretty ominous when we were inside the hall.
Table A3:
Course, Enrolment: Self-explanatory.
Type of Mark: First row is the HSC marks that were given by the BOS, Second row is the scaled marks calculated by UAC.
Mean: The average mark for both HSC and scaled marks.
S.D.: Standard Deviation.
Max: Maximum HSC and scaled mark for that...
Table A7 you're talking about:

It's not a requirement that you do more than 10 units to get 100 UAI. It just so occurs that the people that do get 100 UAI don't just do 10 units in their HSC.
