I had the exact same problem when I came back from the Cosmology residential. Just could not be bothered doing the work, even with a test on a topic I never did know well. I'd just pulled myself into it in the last couple of days, got some work done. I'd say force yourself to do the work...

My SOR class is a bludge, and we hardly get any work done. Having said that, the thing you only really do need for SOR is the syllabus, and a good set of notes, then you're pretty much covered in terms of marks. I don't even have that and I'm going well.

Just got extension 2 maths results back today after the exam yesterday, 1st rank with 28/30, with a forgotten division by 2 losing 2 marks. The other guys got 27, 26 and 25, and everyone stuffed up a different question. Quite coincidental :)

Well, let's just say that you do drop a subject to do extension 2 maths, and then find out that you can't do the work. That'll leave you with 11 units, which is enough for the HSC and UAI. Question is, do you want to do just 11 units?

He isn't. Is there any subject you do at the moment that you particularly hate and have the ability to drop? You could pick up extension 2 maths and do 14 units, but that'll be a bitchload of work.

Even then, that could still be an ok result if she got a good rank out of it.
