Can anyone also confirm the truth behind enrolment at mq? I.e Enrolment dates are listed as between the 3rd and 22nd of feb .. I was told when we accept our offer online ( jan 16 presumably ) We will be given a date to go and enrol, organise timetables etc ..

My girlfriend is leaving for the phillipines in january and as such won't be able to configure her own timetable for uni. As we are doing the same course ( granted we get admitted) is it possible for me to organise this for her so that hers and my own timetables match?

You're probably right. I wasn't absolute on whether it was needed, but I just mentioned it just in case. It sure is hard work, not sure if I'll be able to manage it and uni! Might just do labouring before uni starts and apply for somewhere more casual later.

If you can get into contact with the marketing companies that set people up in shopping centres to distribute fliers etc, then you could make $23/ hr as an 18 y.o Also labouring jobs probably range from $22-$30/hr if you're willing and have your OHS white card.

I don't know if it'll interest anyone here, or whether any of you guys have your white card, but part time labouring jobs can easily pay $25-30 p/h. Obviously it's harder work than your usual p.t/casual job, but the pay is good. :)
