Make your grades as best as you can. I wish to apply for postgraduate medicine, so GPA is considered in the application process thus I want to be achieving HDs in everything (but it's never quite that simple). Depends on your field.

Go an whatever speed you feel motivated to study. Make sure you just are up to scratch on your notes by the end of the holidays; it makes studying for the final exams a lot simpler.
