Can someone please explain to me...?

no idea. Most likely Usyd medsci was filled to capacity. What did you get offered? I"m guessing your backup is to get into med. If you got offered a "plain" science degree; just do all the medical subjects and you'll be fine. Medical science = Science (med).

The well: The Students of Medical Science Society any questions you got

survivor has answered most of it. Just wanted to add more detail. By patenting side; I mean you can become a patent attorney. Its probably the only unique job. I guess going into policy making as well in the science or medical field is an option as well where you'll use a little knowledge...

you never find science jobs on job outlook. This is because most of them are filled straight away by another person within the same building. Networking is key.

    need help with uni options

Total bs. What makes a UNSW grad better than a UTS one? In the end of the day it'll be how well you perform in your interview or job application.

    need help with uni options

no. Because they are 2 completely different degrees. Commerce is in the realm of making/managing/anything else to do with money + business -> not just for yourself but for other people too. Then you've got Medical Radiation here you're basically training to run X-rays and CTs (I think)...

The well: The Students of Medical Science Society any questions you got

I've forwarded your question on to a friend who is working as a lawyer for Turks Legal. But here is my two cents: I think in effect; you'l be graduating with a sci/law degree if anthing. So; you can either go in and work as a lawyer; but you've also got the patenting side aswell. OR you...

B Medical Science VS B Science

You want to become a scientist right? Its really takes 7+ years to become a REAL scientist. You got to do 3 years of undergrad; then a year of honours then another 3 years to do a PhD. You can choose where you want to do your honours and PhD. Honours and PhD is basically writing a thesis on...

B Medical Science VS B Science

true about the 12 units of gen-eds. But its agood way to get the WAM up. I didn't know about the largest number of science electives... go to UNSW because its probably the place to be in terms of medical research + learning about science. But thats obv bias.

B Medical Science VS B Science

Wher are you looking to study? If its at unsw; med sci is alot more structured --> so you don't really haveto bother with choosing your subjects. Where as science you've just got to choose all the medical subjects like pathology or anatonmy etc from 2nd year onwards. Where abouts in...

    Should I repeat year 12?

don't do it. Never go back to highschool. Go to uni and do science or something you'll do well in. then go for post grad med. If your worried about GPA --> everyone's GPA or WAM is significantly lower than 98.5 or watever it is. So you'll be competitive. the main reason is social...
