Re: What UAI/course are you aiming for?
Well, the core message I was trying to send is that having natural intelligence < trying your best effort to get all the required works done.
Re: What UAI/course are you aiming for?
Your definition of "not much" is quite disputable and not clear in the sense that every individual is different.
I will follow on from what you just said. You mentioned that it depends on the individuals. But don't you think different amount of...
English predominantly deals with the aesthetics involved in the language and the silky road awaits for those who take in the language slowly and enjoy it. Good luck.
Re: What UAI/course are you aiming for?
People who don't believe in themselves already have no grounds for 90+ UAI.
To ShaonO: From reading several posts of yours, you seem to underestimate the amount of works involved to achieve 99+ UAI. Not all top 5 students from each school will get 99+...
Factorised form?
I would personally use Quadratic formula to find the roots.
If you didn't mean factorised form but complete equation,
I would first go: 2x^2 + 4x - 5 = 2(x^2 + 2x -5/2)
= 2(x^2 + 2x + 1 -7/2)...
That's good. My ranks won't change...
I really wanted to move up in ranks...I don't think it will happen.
EDIT: I thought you said, you moved up in ranks, sorry!
