    school restrictions

Promise your teacher that you will work much harder, then actually do work harder. The next two years are your last 2 years, out of 13 years at school. Just do well in these 2 years, then you can do anything you want at uni (or whatever your aspirations are).

Evidence for increases in sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides

This is also what what friend said, but I've been told in the past by teachers that you shouldn't contradict what you're arguing. So I'm not sure if putting disadvantages in an answer, where my judgement is positive, would weaken my argument.

    Help with 14 units?

Keep it until end of Year 11, or at least after half-yearlies. In Year 11, you want to do as many units as you can to test everything out, and test yourself under a heavy workload. After Year 11, drop to 10-12 units.

Evidence for increases in sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides

The syllabus dot-point says: "Assess the evidence which indicates increases in atmospheric concentration of oxides of sulfur and nitrogen". For the verb 'assess', I know you have to include a judgment at the end, but do you have to include points FOR and AGAINST, or only points for the side...

    Help.

y=mx+m. Equate with y=2x^2. You get 2x^2-mx-m=0. Find discriminant. For no solution (thus, no intersection), discriminant is negative. Then solve the inequality for m.

Frankenstein and the human condition and human experiences etc.

In Frankenstein, you can contrast the morality of Victor with his creation, who has been educated by humanistic values. In Blade Runner, you can also contrast the ironically inhumane humans (e.g. Tyrell) with the superior morality of the Replicants (e.g. Roy). Be sure to also compare the...

    Polymers help!

The monomer of the polymer determines its properties. For example, PVC and polystrene are rigid and strong as the chlorine atom and benzene group respectively stabilise the molecule. Also, the hydroxyl groups of glucose form strong hydrogen bonds between cellulose chains, making it insoluble...

    TIPS?

You should most definitely try in Year 11, as the Preliminary Course is generally assumed knowledge for the HSC. Also, it's good to develop to good study habits and attitudes going into Year 12. If you really feel like your wasting your time in Year 11, just go ahead and learn Year 12 content/

    Help with calculations

Then, by minusing the excess moles by the one with lower moles, you can calculate how many hydrogen/hydroxide ions are remaining. Therefore, the number of moles of the opposite acid/base required for neutralization equals the number of remaking ion moles. Then, using the formula V=n/c, the...

    Frankenstein !

It's actually really interesting, especially after you watch Blade Runner, as there are so many parallels between the texts. One you get about halfway through the novel, there is no way in the world that you can say it's "boring".
