does anyone else think the ancient society topic is just waaayy too big? I'm doing new kingdom egypt til amenhotep III - 3 hours study has only gotten me through 2 dot points! and I'm seeing stuff here on the syllabus that I don't even recognise.. oh dear

It all about context. Just relate anything you say back to the text's context and you'll be fine!

I'm doing this module as well and we were told that our texts don't have to relate to the prescribed text. Just as long as they 'explore the relationship between history and memory' So you can even do personal history if you want eg diary of Anne Frank I'm doing A Clockwork Orange :)
